What does Axion actually change?

Windows settings: the power plan, the scheduler, what starts with Windows, what runs in the background, and the graphics and input settings games depend on. Every one of them is listed on the features page, with what it does and anything it costs.

Can it break my PC?

Axion writes the old value down before it writes a new one, reads the value back afterwards, and makes a System Restore point before every boost. The settings that cannot be undone — removing a preinstalled app, deleting a cache — say so before they run.

It never writes to your BIOS or firmware, and it never touches Windows' own files.

What does it never touch?

Anti-cheat processes, services and drivers. Audio. Graphics drivers. Windows Defender's tamper protection. Your files. The app shows that list on the Debloat screen, next to what it is about to close.

Will I get banned?

Axion does not inject into games, does not read a game's memory and does not modify a running game's files. It changes Windows settings and the game's own settings files, the same ones the game's menu writes, and it never touches an anti-cheat process.

We cannot speak for any publisher, and nobody honestly can. What we can say is exactly what Axion does, which is why every change is listed and logged.

Does it turn off the things anti-cheat needs?

No. Secure Boot, the TPM and CPU virtualization are what Vanguard, Faceit and others check, and the health check marks all three keep this on. Memory Integrity can be turned off, by you, from the Security trade-offs group, which says what it costs and warns that some anti-cheat expects it.

Can I put everything back?

Yes. Revert all undoes every change Axion has made on that PC, from its own record, and it is free on every plan. A single run can be undone on its own, and Live Boost puts its own changes back when you close the game.

What if Axion is closed or crashes mid-session?

The session journal is written before the first change. The next launch finds it, puts everything back and tells you it did.

What does Premium cost?

€25, once. It goes on your Discord or Google account and works on every PC you sign in on. What each plan includes.

What does Axion need?

Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit, and administrator rights to change settings. A free Discord or Google account to sign in. Nothing else is installed, and the engine runs through Windows' own PowerShell.

Does it work on a laptop?

Yes, and it knows it is on one. The tweaks that trade heat or battery for speed are skipped or left out of the Laptop preset, and the health check says when the machine is running on battery or on the wrong graphics chip.

Do I need to keep it running?

No. A boost is a set of Windows settings; they stay after you close Axion. Live Boost and the Watchdog are the two things that want it running, and both sit in the tray.
