Is Axion safe to use?
Yes. Axion only changes Windows and game settings, shows you what each tweak does before you apply it, and makes a restore point before a boost.
Is my account the same in the app and on the website?
Yes. Sign in with the same Discord or Google account in both places. Buy Premium on the website and it's on your account in the app the next time you open it.
I bought Premium, but the app still says Free.
Close Axion and open it again, because it checks your account when it starts. Make sure the app is signed in with the same account you bought with. Still Free? Email us and we'll sort it out.
Can Axion get me banned in games?
Axion doesn't touch games while they run, doesn't read or change game memory and has nothing to do with anti-cheat. It changes Windows settings, and its optional graphics presets edit the same settings files a game's own menu does.
Why did my antivirus show a warning?
The installer is new and not code-signed yet, so Windows and browsers have no reputation data for it, and tools that change system settings look suspicious to antivirus heuristics. The install help goes through each warning and shows how to check the file. You never need to turn off your antivirus.
How do I install, update or remove Axion?
Download and run AxionSetup.exe. It installs like any Windows program, with Axion in the Start menu. When a new version is out, the app asks and updates itself in about a minute. To remove it, open Settings, Apps, Installed apps, and uninstall Axion.
Which PCs does it work on?
Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit, desktops and laptops. On a laptop, Axion skips the tweaks that would make it run hotter or drain the battery.
Can I undo a boost?
Yes. Open Optimize in the app and press Revert all.
